Hello my name is Jeni West. I have been involved in dogs my entire life.
My parents raised Gordon Setters, Irish Setters and a few scattered Basset Hounds since before I arrived into this world.
My first dog was a Gordon Setter that a breeder gave to me--He was my first dog I put a Championship on (CH) and a Companion
Dog title on (CD). Then my soon-to-be brother-in-law bought an English Setter puppy for my sister and I to show. He turned out
to be the first dog I was honored to get a Group 1 on.
I have been involved in Conformation, a little bit of Obedience, and soon will be getting involved with draft with my dogs. I was
honored to show one of the best Bernese Mountain Dogs of all time--CH. Nashems Taylor Maid (pictured above) she has
made a huge impact on my life and has formed a great friendship with myself and Sara Karl (Taylor's owner and breeder).
Taylor became the Top Winning Bernese Mountain Dog Bitch of all time and has produced many Champions which you will
throughout my site.
My home life consists of my husband (and best friend) Dave whom has always been very supportive and patient with all my travels.
And my three daughters Kelsey, Kami, and Kylie.
Tailwind Kennels is the name of the business I run which services include professional handling, boarding and grooming of dogs.
Jenda is the name I use in my breeding program with my Bernese Mountain Dogs. I hope you enjoy looking through my site
